Old Fashioned

One of the pros of living alone, is those moments you spent just with yourself and your favorite habits.

Even if I am a very social person and I love being with my friends the most of the time, I enjoy being just me, myself and I sometimes. I consider it as a luxury to sit on my couch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and do.. nothing. When was the last time you did something you really like for yourself? The simplest things, like listen to really loud music (and sing) or watch  your favorite series without someone interrupting? Personally I need more time to relax and just read a book. - even if  it sounds Old Fashioned.

Settling down is a process we may don't understand or accept easily.
At the beginning I thought it was just me being tired because of the many hours spending at the Uni. I personally love parties and alcohol but the truth is that I  don't enjoy them the way I used to.
During my Spring break I realized that I may grew up a little. Not because I don't go out every night  but because I don't want to, and it feels actually good. I enjoy "staying in" with my friends and family or just by my self, even if it felt a little bit weird at the beginning. It has nothing to do with "old" or "tired". It's may the need to push away any kind of pressure to do things and meet people you actually wouldn't if you weren't on Holidays.

Take home message: Have fun, whatever that means to you.
